Who runs this site
High Water Bill is run by ADI Leak Detection, the trading name of ADI Leak Solutions Ltd, company number 15870765. ADI is a leak detection company, founded in 2011 in High Wycombe.
The site’s commercial purpose includes introducing people with suspected hidden leaks to ADI. It is not an independent comparison service. The guidance is written to be useful whatever the cause, so when a bill rose because of the price or an estimated reading, the site says so plainly.

Figures and advice come from published guidance by the consumer body for water, water companies and ADI’s own pages. These organisations do not run or endorse this website.

What the tools can and cannot tell you
The bill checker suggests a likely cause from your answers. The meter test measures the water that passed your meter while you tested. The usage calculator compares your use with an average household. None of them can see your pipes, and none replaces a visit from someone who can.
Nothing you type into the tools leaves your browser. The privacy notice explains what is kept on your device and for how long.
